Camino Clark

Camino Clark is a vibrant cultural district in Rogers Park, officially designated by the State of Illinois in 2024. Stretching along Clark Street from Howard Street to Devon Avenue, this historic corridor is a hub of Mexican heritage, local entrepreneurship and community pride.

More than just a street, Camino Clark is a living celebration of traditions, flavors, art and stories that have shaped the neighborhood for generations. Our goal is to strengthen and share this unique identity by supporting local businesses, hosting cultural events and creating opportunities for residents, visitors and tourists to experience the richness of our community. Whether you’re here to explore our shops and restaurants, or connect with neighbors, Camino Clark is a place where culture and community meet.

Día de los Muertos

November 1 & 2
Various locations along Clark Street in Rogers Park.

Throughout the weekend, businesses within Camino Clark will display ofrendas (Mexican home altar offerings) to pay respect to the memory of deceased loved ones. This will be an opportunity for the community to learn more about the Mexican tradition and contribute to the making of a community ofrenda.
