Participatory Budgeting Murals

Address:
1800 W. Estes Ave. (South Wall)

Description:
The mural is a street scene based off of the types of businesses found on nearby Clark Street. The wall is meant to function as a stage backdrop for passers-by. The signage in the scene has been replaced with positive power words like, PEACE, LOVE, HOPE, JOY, etc. in as many languages as would fit, to show the diversity of Rogers Park. THOR is a Jack of all trades and a master of some. He has been actively painting images on walls in the City of Chicago since the early 90’s.

Date Completed:
2010
