Description:
This short wall curves along the sidewalk on the northwest side of Madonna Della Strada Chapel and lists the names of the eight Salvadoran Martyrs. The victims—six Jesuit priests, their housekeeper and her daughter—were killed in 1989 at the University of Central America by members of the Salvadoran military for speaking out on behalf of the poor.
