Looking for A Small Business Loan?
Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA) is a Small Business Opportunity Center designated by the City of Chicago to provide expert advice on small business loans and other ways to access capital for your business. RPBA can help you learn how to qualify for a loan and provide referrals to banks, alternative lenders like a CDFI (Certified Community Development Financial Institutions) and explore other ways of accessing capital for your business.

*In 1994, the United States Department of Treasury allowed non-profits to become a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) as a way to provide small business loans to entrepreneurs and business owners who couldn’t qualify for traditional bank loans. More flexible and lenient than banks, CDFIs operate across the nation. In Chicago, there are CDFIs who are successful in providing capital to underserved markets.
